We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Founding Director with administrative tasks, internal bookkeeping, and sales invoicing. The ideal candidate will be reliable, discrete, efficient, and confident in handling financial and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
PA & Administrative Support
Diary and email management – scheduling meetings and events, prioritising correspondence, and responding where necessary
Organising documents, maintaining accurate records, making travel arrangements and handling confidential information
Drafting correspondence, reports, and supporting documentation
Conducting research and assisting with ad hoc business tasks
Bookkeeping
Preparing and sending sales invoices accurately and on time
Tracking invoice payments and following up on outstanding amounts
Maintaining financial records and assisting with bookkeeping tasks
Supporting bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial reporting
Assisting with credit control to ensure timely payments from clients
This role does not include any bookkeeping for clients it is internal only
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
Experience in PA, administration, bookkeeping, or finance
Proficiency in QuickBooks, or other accounting software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and taking the initiative to solve problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable:
Understanding of charities, social enterprises, or community interest companies (CICs)
Experience with credit control and client invoicing
Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, or other business tools
